I bought some Timecast 10mm ACW buildings at Salute 2014. The resin seems to be very soft and easily damaged
have they changed the type of resin used or am I imagining it? |

Doctor Phalanx We have not changed the materials and are not aware of any problems. However please e-mail us (sales@timecastmodels.co.uk) or phone (01743 465676) at your convenience and we can get this sorted out for you. If there is a problem with the material it would help if you could e-mail us a photo of the damage. Barrie TimeCast |

Barrie and Mark at TimeCast sorted this issue very satisfactorily. Thanks. I should explain that my judgement was based on a 'flange' at the base of the model which should actually have been sanded off before supply. The damage I caused to the rest of the model was entirely the result of my own ineptitude and recklessness, and no reflection on its strength. I remain a huge fan of TimeCast which I consider to be the best in their field. I should also point out that they have not twisted my arm or threatened me with lawyers – I just wanted to set the record straight out of fairness! Richard |
