I owed The Angry Lurker a painted figure for being the top-placed member of Postie's Rejects in this year's Analogue Painting Challenge.

While I was at salute, I spotted a figure in Blue Moon's "Named Gangsters" pack which suited him to a tee, so I bought it.

Here is the result:

The white overcoat reminds me of our college production of the play "The Petrified Forest," which we did in the round gangster holding up a cafe). The guy gets shot, and theatre blood splatters a young lady at a front row table, who is--of course--wearing a white suit.

"Ah, gee, Louie, Look at dis! Da bum splattered me all over wid his blood! Kill him again for me. Den rifle his pockets--I'm gonna hafta pay Bernie at da dry cleaner extra for dis job."

Nice job painting him--I especially like the side views which make him look more the boss type, keeping his hands warm and clean in his pockets.
