I have a long weekend in Sydney coming up in May. With the Tin Soldier store gone now, are there any other shops selling historical miniatures in central Sydney? |

Hardly central, but the only one I know of is The Hall of Heroes, Campbelltown. A fantastic FLGS with stacks of free gaming tables and active historical and fantasy wargamers. The shop is a 3 minute walk from the railway station, and there's parking out back. thehallofheroes.com.au If you let us know what youre interests are we may be able to organise a game for you

Stracm In the Queen Victoria Building, you have Hobbyco (sadly now with reduced gaming inventory) and a smaller shop specialising in 54mm painted models (great eye candy). There is the odd sci-fi shop but otherwise not a lot. Consider compensating by visiting Hyde Park Barracks, The Rocks, Maritime Museum, Museum of Australia and Fort Denison. Have a great day, Frank |

There's Good Games, but they don't put prices on their stock. poor shop, but it is in the CBD, above Games Workshop. Hall of Heroes is excellent, but it's a trip. Games Empire is great if you want FoW, board games and GW stuff, but it's in Castle Hill. The Combat Company is solid but little in the way of historicals, and is hidden in south Sydney. |

As others have said, dry, dry, dry in CENTRAL Sydney for historical miniatures. |

Thanks guys. Hobby Co was on the agenda for some terrain and basing materials. SWMBO has organised a fairly full weekend so venturing too far will be a challenge
still many of those thing involve good food and wine so all will not be lost |
