Storm Within the Empire – DBA3 battle report.

It has been a while since my Late Medieval armies have made an appearance and I decided to exercise some medieval skills as a prelude to a game later this month between two keen players.

Austrians and Bavarians had identical composition of knights, solid foot and handgunners, the Swiss supplied pike and fast blade. The Austrians had a decided advantage in artillery.

The battle report with photos can be read in full at the blog, Storm Within the Empire.

Glad you liked the game.

This Wednesday at the club we have Rome versus Parthia on the same scale, so a report should be posted Thursday or Friday.

I think with the introduction of the Late Medieval period at the club, this might tickle the interest of the fantasy players to have a go at DBA3.

Cheers,
Robert
