This is my first project with Bolt Action WW11 plastics. Is it easier to paint them on the spruces then put them together?. Or put them together then paint them?. |

I put the figure together and then paint, although I paint the weapons and equipment separately. |

Dicymick I am no expert on the Warlord stuff, but I have done lots of Perry Miniatures plastic and I would seriously suggest assembling them first. It will be so much easier if you need to fill any small gaps. Rich |

yes assemble them first, It will save you a lot of work for 3 big reasons. 1: Plastic glue will not work on the paint, so you will have to scrap it off all the glue points 2: You will have go back to paint the glue over run and joints 3: You will have to go back and paint all the spruce points that will be cut off. |

I used to paint "on the sprue" but found that assembling them first and painting them later is way easier |

Wow, that's a whole lotta World Wars! 11 of 'em to be precise. Sorry, the food and ale have taken effect and I couldn't resist. Seriously, I always assemble first. |
