I just got the 3D prints for the Terran Medium mech. This is the 28mm scale version. I'll have the 15mm done soon. He's held together with sticky poster putty, so he's not posed very well. But, as you can see, he's pretty huge. Here's some pics!

All of the pieces top to bottom, left to right, we have the Siege Drill, Wrecking Ball, Jackhammer, Buzzsaw, Torso, Legs Position 1, Plasma Gun, Railgun, Left & Right Chainguns, Left & Right upper arms/shoulders, Left & Right Crusherfists, Legs Position 2, Missile Pod, Blaster Turret and Booster Jets.

I'll be sending him out to get the resin molds made shortly!

In other news, I just released a new version of the rulebook. You can download the new PDF from my website! I've updated everything to cover 28mm distances more clearly, and I've also added a lot of new stuff such as campaign rules and a chart you can use to simulate drawing Arena Cards… those cards will be optional, but will be a deck where both players draw a card at the beginning of each turn to give you random objectives, powerups and arena conditions to keep everyone on their toes :) You can still play the basic "set up and fight" kind of game, or use the cards to shake things up.

It's looking like we'll be rebooting the Kickstarter campaign around late May or early June, and we'll be focusing on just 28mm scale mechs.. but the original 15mm models will still be offered as add-ons for the folks that want them.

Very impressive. Glad to see you're still going to be supporting dual scales, I can see demand for both.

Looking awesome.
Curious how much that mini will sell at retail for folks who might not get in on KS pricing.

Thanks :)

Not sure about prices just yet.. but I'm hoping for retail this guy will be around $35 USD or so, likely a bit cheaper in the kickstarter campaign though. I won't really know until I get all of the molds made though.

Very nice! Looks like you could stuff a Speehs Muh-reen into the cockpit, too.

I'll probably be game for the 15mm versions, though.

nice I take it the small bits in the mid right are the left and right hands? Ill want want 4 mechs :) I don't have a need for the weapon arms. I always thought that as a dumb idea for a walker that can fall down to have weapons in place of hands.

Yes those are the Crusherfists, like a Power Fist in 40k, but it has an opposable thumb :) Each Mech will have unique weapons, they'll come with a pilot card with the weapon stats.. so you can pick the mech you want based on the weapon payload it has. I'm also going to sell weapon upgrade packs too, so you could get a few mecks, a weapon pack or 2, and a bunch of magnets and put them together however you want for whatever game. I'll see how it goes for retail, I might put together a "mechbuilder" web page where you can select the exact body and each weapon you want.. but for retail store shelves they'll be packaged base on the team & pilot :)

Each team will have 4 different light mech pilots each with different payloads, 2 medium mechs and 1 heavy mech, and I'm planning 4 different Terran teams. Later on we'll get around to doing other races with totally different mechs, but the Terran mechs are always the most common in the arenas.. kind of like Space Marines in 40k. So I want to focus on getting them all finished first before moving on to other races.

Very good. I'm looking forward to adding some to my existing 28mm skirmish forces. Thank you for making these. And then again for making them in 28mm.

With a slightly different cockpit they could be used as Titan sized for 15mm :-)
