It's one of the closest shows to me but getting a pass the day after returning from the weekends gaming at Ayton will be impossible and maybe life threatening :D

3 of the games have Bannockburn in the title although I belive one is actually science fiction

Funny, but not a lot is being made of the Bannockburn anniversary down South … wink

Maybe we are missing something … (Flodden seemed popular enough)

Those planning to visit Carronade from points South might also want to know that the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune airfield in East Lothian, just off the A1, will be running its Wartime Experience event on Sunday 11 May. Lots of re-enactors and other displays as well as aircraft to see. Loads of fun for all the family.
For the second year running Falkirk District Wargames Club, and our friends from Edinburgh, will be running public participation wargames at the event, including our popular Wings of Glory game this time with 1:72 scale aircraft.
So why not make a weekend of it.

The national flight museum event I was intending to go to with my son but we are stuck in the house that day as the roads are closed for a bleeping cycle 'race'!

Your luck seems decidedly off this year Drumcharry!

Leuchars Veteran Wargamers (new title this year due to the imminent handover to the Army) will be there with our new Participation game "Dambusters".
This year our punters will be sitting INSIDE the Lancaster bomber cockpit!
