What a magnificent set-up – and also a great wargaming idea to just play one part of the battle, allowing much more space and a more realistic ground scale.

I don't know why, but 40mm figures (especially on 28mm-sized bases) just look more like proper groups of men – maybe it's the ratio of lateral space to the height of the figure?

(ps: Any tips on stopping the S&S marching British figures from "losing" their bayonets? I'm seriously contemplating taking them all off my first unit and just having "bare" muskets.)
