We played a game of the 1800 battle of Montebello between the French Lannes and the Austrian Ott tonight. I'm headed out of town early tomorrow so here are the pictures of the game.
My Austrians held after a rough middle game. French losses were 815 to 1485 Austrians. We played 12 turns in 100 minutes. This scenario has proved very hard for the French over several games. Since Lannes won the actual battle, I need to read up some more and figure out how to balance it better. The game yielded some useful ideas for slirmishing rules and other stuff. |

Thanks for the pics. What rules do you use? |

My own, named "Bonaparte Waltz". The rules are designed to be played on a memoir 44 style hex mat. |
