I'm painting some swiss pike who have these brooches/badges/cockades on their hats and I was wondering what they were and how to paint them? |

I seem to recall that white Ostrich feathers were signs of Reisläufer, whereas Peacock feathers were a sign of Imperial loyalties. Where you get an Ostrich in Switzerland is another matter. |
