In this video by Japanese band Buck-Tick two men fight wearing a mix of armour and gear spanning quite a few centuries.
I think I see Roman armour, a Hundred Year War helm and a Vendel helm, but I am crap at any war gear made before 1900. Who can give me a more correct list?

I name it……Dave!

I name it, "Rose" The salade helmet is WotR period. Pieces of the plate armor are too, not Roman. The "Vendel" helmet is more fantasy than an accurate reproduction, not quite like the Vendel piece that survives, or the Viking "spectacle" helmet that it looks most like. The mail extension is arguably a very poor idea, making the helmet weigh a lot more while providing very little protection and increased unwieldiness. Fantasy. The hilt on the thrown sword is "Roman", sort of. The shields are non historical, being made of metal with "fantasy" written all over them.

Cute video. Not a stitch of Japanese culture visible in it. Cute bitch in a Victorian dress, quite sexy in a perverse way. They've been around a while, and this is the first I've heard of them. So, what else is new about that? I live in a bubble….

I don't know how accurate Kingdom of Heaven is but but the Vandal helmet looks like Saladins (with chain-mail but without eye guard). The Buckler looks like it could be too.

I wonder what it sounds like to Japanese. THeir language emphasises different sylabbles. Must sound like the english spy from 'allo 'allo.

The Vendel style helmet does have a Saracen/Persian feel, couldn't come up with it with a quick web search though and don't have references handy.

Thrown sword has a 'brazil nut' pommel and looks Dark Age/Early Middle Ages European. A lot of those swords had the more compact cross guard.

For the armor: Society for Creative Anachronism. Often has mixed times and places of armor due to acquiring pieces to play in with a limited budget and often involves borrowed and/or hand-me-downs from other fighters as they upgrade or change armor.

The cute/sleasy Victorian chick is wearing an articulated chromed combination War-toothpick and Battle Orange-scorer, which fell out of favor when the Crown Prince Yan-chow had his elbow jostled while he was re-purposing the toothpick as a nose-pick. Very unfortunate, and quite fatal. For armor she has a gold-washed lamellar lower-lip guard, stripped down to just the main center plate. This style was popular in the Bao-House period of oriental armor design and culinary arts.
