I am currently looking for two things. The first is just a list of any books with all the information needed (ship listings, objectives, dates, ect.) to run naval campaigns. I am not sure if it matters, but I plan on using General Quarters (the old Red and Blue book set). My plan is to do a Pacific campaign, but I am just looking for books covering any campaigns in any region. The second thing that I am looking for is a specific campaign book. I remember using one back in the early 1990s that had several campaigns in it, including one for the Japanese invasion of the Dutch East Indies. Unfortunately that is all I really know about the book. I think it might have been printed by C in C, and my memory (which is often faulty at my age) seems to think that the book was the same size as the old CQ rule books. Any thoughts or insights into this? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. ciao, john.

Old Dominion Game Works has "The Solomons Campaign", which covers the title topic, in monthly turns, and "Sudden Storm", a late 1930's, pre-airpower dominated Pacific War game. Both created for GQ3, but quite useable for other systems. They include logistics, ship availability, intelligence, orders from above, etc. I recommend both. |

Thank you, gentlemen, for your response. After reading M C LeSingeDew's response and actually calling an old high school friend, I do believe that it is the panzerschiffe book, which I have ordered. Thank you again for your help. |
