..so the faint hearted or very "intense" – oh yes you are out there my friends – can go to count their buttons or pout! But why oh why do some manufacturers neglect their websites in favour of Face Book, Twitter or any one of 100 other new fangled communications tools. We are a greying hobby dagnabbit – some of us do not want to be on Face Book etc .. and those who do have the NSA and everyone else breathing down their necks
plus all probably have Nigerian alter egos with their passports and stolen identities.. There is one manufacturer at least who has brought out something new.. you CAN track it down if you want to on their Face Book page, on other sites, on "social media" – stupid bloody name for something potentially so asocial – but have they put it up on their website – have they hell! I suppose it is not "cool" enough anymore. Tommyrot! Right.. I am off to lay down and play Blimp! |

Change sucks, huh? Those manufacturers that want your business will put the products out there where you can find them, those that don't, won't. |

I resisted Facebook until I needed to access information that was only available via that system. However, all I did was open an account (a very quick and simple process), and it's there if I ever have the need again. Otherwise, I haven't used it and have no intention of doing so; I don't wish to live my life online. |
