I added the scenario (designed for Field of Battle by Brent Oman) for this clash, which features virtually all of the Old and Middle Guard on the French side (and not much else!) to my blog at: link I'll be running this game at Historicon in July. It is in part derived from the excellent scenario from Fields of Glory. Links to other information and Montmirail scenarios included in the references.
Battle report from the playtest was posted earlier this month: link

Nice AAR and pictures. I just finished re-reading Montmirail in F.L. Petre's 1814, so the timing is great!! I'll have a look at your Orbat and see if I can use it for a Shako 2 game with our group. Thanks!! |

Thanks, Sparker – more the sort of Christmas decorations that are used in conjuction with "Christmas Village" type displays. I've actually decided that the HCon version will sue a mottled tan/brown cloth, as it seems it was more mud than snow as the order of the day! wrgmr1: The scenario ought to work pretty well with Shako 2; you may want to delay the arrival of the reinforcements by 1-2 turns compared to the Field of Battle version. Great scenario. I will look forward to seeing it at Historicon. Tom |
