Well I'd like to tell you about the great bookshops in Wollongong, full of character and cheap but interesting second hand books, when you can bump into colourful renaissance characters whilst mulling over an original volume of 19thC uniform plates…

But no – none like that I've come across. T'Interweb it is around these parts…thank God for The Book Depository and its free postage I say!

Yes I was completely charmed by Adelaide when I visited a couple of years ago – however it was a University Conference so what little spare time I had was not to be spent poring over more books – and that front bar at Siebels is very relaxing!
