Looking for a 20mm M60A1. I gave up trying to find one in 28mm and probably will be selling off my 28mm Mongrel US Marines because they have no tank support.

ESCI does one in 1/72nd scale. Kit number 8317.

Revell does one in 1/72 scale, albiet an M60A3, and is overall a better kit. Maybe mix parts from the Esci kit with the Revell kit?

Irish – I feel you. The route I took was:

If you are willing to go the distance, Kitech has a 1/48 M60A1 kit. I have three of them.

Be forewarned – the racking in the back will need to be done by hand using wire, the casting in that area on my kits was incomplete… pieces of plastic rack. And the blazer armor is so inaccurate, incomplete & without placement instructions they might has well not have bothered. The wheels and tracks – well, I am waiting on some disposable income to make a bulk buy from Propaganda Kompany in Poland… they make resin tracks that are highly accurate.

So.. if you are a modeler first and gamer second (like me), go for it.

Mardaddy, I saw a rumor that Propoganda Kompany may be folding due to the owner's health issues. Might want to get that order in sooner rather than later…

Thanks for the info, and sorry to hear that… they make such good "stuff."

I'm coming into some cash this week with a project I completed for a customer, maybe I should just get the tracks and call myself lucky at that…

I have a model m60a1 and m60a3 in 72 scale, they has not been released yet as I wanted to do the m728 engineers and bridgelayer as well:-

72 scale is far too small for 28mm figs though, imho.
thanks

Yup I'm moving to 20mm (1/72) scale because 28mm is to difficult to find armor or figures

I moved from 28mm to 15mm for the same reason plus cost and space. With the value of the dollar what it plus shipping much as I like those Empress PLA its not gonna happen on a retirees' income.
