Laid them out on the table just to get an idea how they look, must admit fairly chuffed. Myself and a friend are going to be fighting a mini Minden next Sat. Looking forward to giving the French a damn good drubbing.

Well done.

At the end of a project nothing feels as good as simply lining them up. In a few weeks I hope to be able to do the same with the figures for Operation Zorndorf.

Nice!

Those do look good. Are they 16 or 20 figures per unit? It looks like 4 figures per stand.

VERY NICE. My War, My Armies, My Battle – just my cup of tea.
Vive le Roi et ses armées Francoises. Le victoire sera leur – for sure. No doubt.

Cheers,
Christian

Thankyou for your comments guys, yes they are mainly 20 figure units, when I started the project I was using Die Kriegskunst rules at 40-1, but now I use BP and carnage and glory, but have stuck with the 40-1, which means most of the French are in 16s with there allies 16-24.
As for the French winning, yes probably, but I will of course blame it on the dice.
crogge1757, drooled over your site before, very inspiring, The Battle of Schweinsberg looks good, may have to have a bash at that myself, once I get enough stuff painted.

@ Lancer58

Never mind, I'm a disloyal bitch. Today I cheer up the French. Tomorrow I cheer for the Allies. It all depends as to what unit is my most recent painted one. I'm on the point of painting a unit of Hannoverian Grenadiers. Next will be the Welsh Fusiliers (23rd foot). The figs are about the most pretty sculpts I ever saw. Old Friedrich Schirmer designs. A great German military researcher, Wargamer, and miniature collector.
So, you'll see me cheering for the Allies within soon, I guess.

Cheers,
Christian
