I did a quick write up of the alpha strike demo game I participated in a few weekends ago. I start off with a brief blurb about some of the time saving features. I must say I quite liked it. It's possible I'll discover things to not like, but for the time being I'm hoping to get in some more games with my fellow gamers. link |

Midgetmanifesto, nice writeup, but is the rule that you lose your movement modifier when standing still and get a bonus to hit an advanced rule or house rule? I play AlphaStrike regularly, but only play the standard rules and that's not part of the standard rules. You keep your modifier no matter whether you are moving or not moving. |

They're working on a supplement right now.One of the new prototype rules is that you can give up your movement modifier for a bonus to your 'to-hit' number. link |

Thanks for sharing! And yes, if you elect to stand still you gain an aiming modifier but lose your move bonus. However if you move at least an inch/end your move further than an inch from your position at Initiative Roll time, you maintain your bonus. |
