I bought a can of the model railroad texture stuff. I'm thinking of spraying it on some game boards, but I need to research how to seal it. I don't want little fake rocky bits everywhere. |

Spray paint on styrofoam!!!!???? Chemical hazard warning – use the wrong paint on styrofoam and you will create a soup of toxic fumes. Yes, there are some that can work on some foams but tread lightly into that mix. |

I've used Ruffcoat in the past (an example of it on Amera Vac form plastic: PDF link )but – you're right – the texture is just too fine for my liking. Nice work on the styrene lumps: It's hard getting a good look on something that big. I too love making something out of residual piffle! PDF link link John T |
