I took a few pics at Leviathan, but didn't get any gaming in myself.

Was very disappointed in this years turn out.Very few traders and, for me, very few historical games.Second hand tables virtually vacant. Is it the time of the year or is Leviathan terminally ill? Each year seems to be smaller and smaller. MOAB seems to have sustained momentum.Any answers for saving Leviathan?

Beats me; I haven't been before. I understand they usually run it at a different time in April, but didn't this year due to Easter.

I haven't been in about 4 or 5 years and I was surprised at how small it was in comparison to previous visits.
I have no idea as to why people aren't going. From personal experience I simply forget that it's on. It normally goes something like this "hmmm its April, Leviathan should be on soon must look up when its on" Then May rolls around and I realise I forgot about it.

First I knew it was on, and I'm pretty annoyed that they no longer believe in promoting the event.

It would have been nice to know it was on,..

I've never seen any promotion for this event, probably why it's falling to draw many people. I only new it existed because of word of mouth from a friend who was asked to run a DBA comp years ago and then remembering it is normally held in April.

We're feeling the loss of Gary, that's for certain.

Similar to what happens in Townsville, I usually only get a weeks warning that anything is on (or if more than that, then there is still only a week left to tender my army list…)
