Finished off the first Red Devils rifle team in my Airborne April project.

I went with urban rubble style basing for these guys. Not sure if I'm 100% happy with these as they do seem a bit bare especially on the guys with only bricks on the bases. So any tips for enhancing them are really appreciated!

Anyways a few more pics on blog for those more interested: link

Thanks!

Nicely done! I think the bases look fine. I guess you could try some smaller rubble bits or the occasional tuft of grass/weeds,a gate post, street sign or standing water if you think they are too bare.

As long as the density of items on the bases match the density of the items on the surface of the terrain, it will look good.

Nicely painted sir.

Nicely done, however, I don't know if it's caused by the flash, but the berets appear a little too red, and should be more of a maroon colour.

Thanks guys!

Might have to try adding some discarded equipment, newpapers and other trash to fill the area up a bit.

Jarrovian: The lighting causes at least some of it. They are a bit darker in real life and the shadows are slightly tinted blue.
