As the new owner of Eagle Figures it was my first time at Salute show. It was a fantastic show and I had a lot of very positive feedback from everyone I spoke to. I would also like to thank my team Steve, Matt, Bob and Dave without whom I couldn't have pulled it off. To celebrate the success of the event I am continuing the 10% discount on all orders for another week. See my shop at

Cheers

Are your figures on the large or smaller sizes?

Excellent!

After seeing your miniatures in the flesh, I might make an order, depending on the situation of my credit card after Salute…

I helped a guy do a figure match at the Eagle stand on Saturday and the Eagle Napoleonic Spanish were an exact match, size-wise and stylistically for the Perry metals.

Liked your figures, order being prepared. One can never have too many Tricornes :)

Hi Mark, The Napoleonic Spanish range as Steve The Tim pointed out are an exact match for Perrys figures as the sculptor was asked to make them fit in with the Perrys range.

I have long lusted after your Eclaireurs (that is quite a chat up line I know)….but there are precious few images of them and (not your fault I know, as you have just inherited it) the website is "challenging", visually, at best. From a distance, the castings seem great, but I have to ask…what version of "28mm" are they? Can I really mix them with Perry and Calpe and Westfalia or would they look achondroplastic?

I will not be a bean counter about the shabraques and the lance pennons being slightly wrong…I'll just say they have always looked nice figures (and unique).

Wish I could have been at Salute, but I was trudging around Mt St Jean in glorious sunshine Saturday and went back the next day to visit Waterloo itself. Never did get to Plancenoit which was the whole purpose of the trip!

Hi Deadhead, I shall get a better photo of the Eclaireurs for you and put it up on my facebook page which gives a much better photo quality image. I will let you know when I have posted it so you can take a look. From memory those particular figures are a true 28mm but I will double check and post to this thread.
Cheers
Ian.
P.S. Sounds like you had a truly terrible time on the w/e!

Sunday I caught the train back to Waterloo rather than Braine L'Alleud,to see the HQ, but the newer museum was closed this time and the poor lass running the place, solo, had no idea why. It does need some investment.

Had never been into the church opposite before. Back to Brussels in time to catch the WHU vs Liverpool game in an "English pub" with the family. OK, we lost, but it made for a great weekend.

What I can see on the internet looks superb….and unique! Well, I might mount them on Perry ACW horses, for simpler and correct saddlery but it would save me so much work to have figures ready to paint. My plan was Perry ACW cavalry, French Hussars and French Dragoons…three figures to make each single Eclaireur!

Some very interesting figures in this range, but, to be honest, little known up till now……..to me anyway

Hi Deadhead, sounds like a great w/e.
I have posted onto the site some better pictures of the Eclaireurs and the Eclaireur horses. The link below is a selection of photos I have posted to Eagle Facebook. If you would like anymore just drop me a line as I have taken plenty. I will also be adding another figure to the range in the next couple of days.

I think I talked to you about the Spanish as I was launching the book on the Spanish Infantry of the Early Peninsular Wars. If you have any questions then please ask. The Cavalry, Guard and Artillery is almost finished but will not be published until the next Salute.

Less than 48hours to go for the Salute Celebration Discount so place your order before then to qualify.
