Loose Cannon does a 1/700 Panay as well as a Tutuila. They are available from Freetimehobbies.com for about $30 USD each plus shipping, usually around $9 USD Niko does a 1/700 Luzon for $24.95 USD available from the same place. I get all my 1/700 resins there. |

A bit crude, but
here's a conversion/paint-up I did on a diecast pot-metal pencil sharpener. I call her IJN Kudzu. link Here she is being used as a bombing objective in a 1/300 airwar game: link A friend describes her as an Armed Scenic Cruising Vessel. I have an extra pencil sharpener if you'd like one. |

Zippy, you should call her IJN Enpitsu Kezu Ri. It's Japanese for pencil sharpener. |

You could try converting bits and pieces from the Tamaya(?) Tugger Set in 1/700. |

About how big are these models? Are they resin or plastic? |

Panay, at 191', in 1/700 would be about 3.25" long (191*12)/700. All I mentioned are resin. Looks like they have some PE also.

I offer a 1/600 Dance class minesweeper in my Russian Civil War line. Lines are pretty close and with a few extra guns it may pass muster. At $7 USD it is much cheaper than the Niko and Loose Cannon ones. RCW-28. link Here is a picture of a museum model (NOT MINE!!)of this class: link Dave G PT Dockyard
