Hi chaps, I have been considering buying the FOG game for my PC, however I am not really sure what it is. Is it similar to the "Empire" serious of games where you can play against the AI, or is it like the DBA game where you have to play against another human on line. Thanks in advance for any info, all the best

You can also play versus human opponents. These tend to be better games than against the AI once you are familiar wit the game. Chris |

I bought it yesterday and found it pretty addictive so far. |

Hi Max, that is a very two edged sword, I am a fairly easily adicted person by nature, so I can see this purchase getting me more than a few bollo, I mean scoldings from she who must be obeyed, on the other hand at least I will get my money's worth. All the best

I have been playing this recently and found the artillery in redoubts very hard to kill. Similarly, the later tercios mash up the more linear units of the later period where the shot is supposed to be more effective. |

That's the problem of PC games versus miniatures. You can tweak miniature rules to suit your understanding but a PC game is what it is. |
