I've dabbled in Kickstarter and have found that I really do not enjoy the big ones too much. Zombicide 2 springs to mind. With all the drama involved there it was really nice to participate in a smaller project and assist a smaller outfit. The minis are very nice and do make a good family project.
My children find superheroes to be more heroic than FM Ney holding off Cossacks, Horatio holding a bridge, or Tommy Prince sneaking up on Germans. They also enjoy painting them and giving them names and powers.
Rusti has almost delivered two kick starters in the time of Zombicide 2. The third Kickstarter should be at my house today, maybe tomorrow. I'm playing soldier this weekend, so I won't be at the package till Sunday…hope my kids do not get started without me!
I may have missed Rusti's first Kickstarter, but after the great service of his 2nd and 3rd ones, I will participate in his future projects.
I'm more prone now to check out the smaller projects that are easier on my wallet. There may be less flashy wazzits, but service is top notch…plus a warm fuzzy for helping a small manufacturer extend lines in a niche market within a niche market!
Check out the minion lines @ Crossover miniatures, useful for more than just supers.

Have to agree, rusti has been excellent every time and the minis are
superb, can't wait for the latest minis from the recent kickstarter.

Regards

Jim

The smaller kickstarters I've participated in have always been the best for communication and delivery.

I think his KS is the only one (of four) that I've participated in that delivered on time. There is a lot to be said for keeping them simple and straightforward.

I'm painting a bunch of his minis right now. :) Can't wait for SuperSystem 4.

Got mine today and they are great as always, Rusti does a fantastic job of getting it done.
