link Well my gaming group just played another aftermarket rules kit bash with our mechwarrior clix. This rules set was written by me for a very large number of mechwarrior clix to be used in a table battlefield situation. During this game we allowed that all mechs could use maneuver to create defensive posture. When an Atlas goes into "cover" what does that look like. It was in urban terrain so I can see it happening. Nobody else thought it was proper. Look in on our blog and game report and let me know what you think. Cheers, |

Good to see people play with the DA Clix models. I have a bunch acquired cheap after the line was discontinued. They are really good for just getting on with plunking stuff down and getting on with playing a game. |

Not having any experience with the DA rules, I don't have any opinion on the cover issue. Looks like you all had a good time and the setup looks nice. I do love DA clix models though. We've rebased dozens (probably hundreds now) for use in various sci-fi games. Future War Commander, Panzer 8 Sci-Fi, Mech Attack, and most recently, Alpha Strike, which -though it has it's faults- I find to be a great use for getting alot of these guys on the table at once for a game that moves quickly. link |
