I am looking for 1/100 or 1/144 diecast models of a Bf109, Macchi 200 and CR.42 in desert colours so I do not have to repaint. Lazy I know. My google fu is also weak and my search has drawn a blank. Are there models out there I've missed?

Corgi do a Me109and a Stuka in desert colours , very close to 1/100 scale. Alan

The Corgi Bf-109E is in fact 1/100 and their Ju-87B is very close to 1/144. I measured.

The only pre-painted Macchi 200 and CR.42 I've ever seen have been in 1/72.

F-Toys in their Wings collections has several of what you are looking for in 1/144th.

Here is the CR-42 link

The 109

F-Toys need to be assembled but they are pre-painted. The paint is apparently injected into the mold and they come out very nicely! They do include decals. While they are snap together kits I do use a bit of plastic glue to make sure they can stand up to handling.

Thanx for the tip on the CR-42! I didn't know that F-Toys has them in the pipeline. Too bad that they're releasing them packaged with an Alf floatplane and another goldurn primary trainer. Feh. I'll have to shop for singles.

I have been able to get singles of most F-Toys I have been interested in. Just lately bought one of the I-16's from a company in Japan and price and shipping very reasonable!
