Those are BIG guns for firing from a regular rail car.

And it doesn't look like they have any recoil absorbers.

Your observation Chick Lewis is quite correct…but this is a VBCW project and the heath robinson style is all the vogue – build it and then see if it works

For the guns on the end, you may want to add some of the cover shields, can't remember the exact name for them, but a lot of guns have a shield around the front to keep the crew and the gun safer.

Eric, only thing with it is that the back probably ought to be curved or something because it looks like it might have limited motion due to the back.
