Very excited about two original figure studies that Keith did for me. A French Dragoon, and a French Voltigeur.

Pictures on my blog:

Paint by numbers is great I admit.

Only kidding!!! The brass on that dragoon helmet, that takes real skill. My hospital office manages a West Ham United Montage (just photos) and a painted picture of Jerry Garcia…….the latter is my pride and joy. Not in this league

I've met him too. He's a very nice guy too. Talented and nice! Love his work!

Thanks guys.

Keith is truly a rare talent.

Agree w/ Raynman. I got to meet him at H-Con several years back, and attended a very interesting lecture on combat art. I have three framed prints of his hanging behind me on the wall, but having an original done … just for moi??? Jealous, jealous, jealous.

I have three of his prints in my office as well. Which three do you have?

I have The Great Gate of Hougomont, The Melee (French Carabinier vs. Izumsky Hussars at Borodino), and Battle of Aspern.

In storage, I also have the following prints from his Waterloo series:
* Victory in the Balance
* The Final Gamble
* The Iron Duke

Heh. I have too much to display.
Might have over-bought over the years.

What a great treasure. I've often day-dreamed of having Mr. Rocco doing a portrait of me in a Hussar's uniform!

Thanks for sharing!

@GDrover … my three prints are Foot Dragoons Skirmishing, A Chasseur's Fate and the uniform study Trumpeter; Polish Lancer of the Imperial Guard, Service Dress.

A must have for me someday is one of the Eylau charge prints. Maybe a big giclee print. Lot's of wall space to fill.

Keith does do a great deal of commission work; he's been particularly interested in Egyptian subjects lately. Drop him a line; he is also into Napoleonic wargaming.

I hope you've all gotten his latest book/collection which we published, from MHP or Tradition Studios:
