These two companies look to have some really nice kits. Does anyone have experience of them-ease of build, compatibility with other ranges, overall quality etc? |

Excellent quality and generally easy to build. Both companies are excellent to deal with. |

Milicast Battlefield Range have few parts and a great outcome.(I have just heard that my latest order of them waits for me at home while I sit in an airport lounge in Lithuania!)The Collector Milicast range can have a lot of hard to locate and fit small extras – often ones that only a 'display modeller' would consider fixing on in the first place. MMS has the same extra parts approach as the Milicast collector range – but with the advantage of being metal and therefore more handle-able (and less breakable.) Do NOT expect complete vehicle or tank bodies with MMS. The various panels can be time-consuming to fit together. They need super glue or epoxy. Between them the 2 companies offer superb vehicles at bearable prices, unless you want lots of obscure items, which you will feel in your pocket. £100.00 GBP for 6 vehicles then becomes very possible. These 2 define the 1/76 space. SHQ can be a useful 3rd supplier for most needs. Beware of a few oddities. Some Milicast German vehicles can be a bit thin. As many will tell you, stick to a single supplier per chassis type if possible. |

Beaumap said it all and I agree 100%! I have both companies' wares and I like them both a lot. Worth every penny! |

Thanks chaps. The websites for both companies had seduced me; your views mean that I will now have to consummate the relationship! |
