Just spotted this from a link on the Winter War kickstarter page – potentially looks interesting if it can build up some momentum? link |

With over 20K left to go, might be difficult to achieve the base goal for such a limited scope conflict. Had this been 15mm, I might have thrown some money at it. |

Suspect you're right and the lack of drive/updates/detail/publicity on show from the creator to date seems pretty fatal to its chances, but who knows. Would be nice to see something come out of it. |

Having NOTHING to show and asking for 20K seems pretty
I don't know really, lackadaisical? I've always found this conflict fascinating, so it would be cool. But not even a sketch? barely a list of figures? |

Just my .02 worth but I've missed a number of interesting Kickstarters due to lack of advertising. Are new one listed anywhere on this page as they come out? Given we now have three editors it would be a nice service to the community. |

Funny but I already did conversions for Indian troops. Start with Dadi and Piombo Italians with AR70 rifles. (The full butt stock ones, not the Ar70/90) Buy Gripping Beast British heads in steel helmets with the cam on. Cut the rifle sights back from a handle to jst a rear sight and glue on heads, you're good to go. Pakistani troops were made by Mongrel and available through whoever bought them out.

Figures look good! Good idea. I'd be interested in both armies but theres no way he's making his goal. |

Part of the reason for starting the Kickstarter is the fact that Mongrel Miniatures are effectively off the market. If you know how to get them from the new owner, I'd really like to know. I've tried ordering through the website, leaving voice mail, and sending email. At this point, I would be interested in purchasing the line from him, so that I can put it back into production. Ed |
