Nice painting, no doubt about it. I have a query though. The pompons for the 4 fusillier companies were (as far as I know) all white or : green/blue/orange/mauve.
Did they really carry 2 flags per batt. ?? |

Saxon Duchies had 1 rregiment of 3 batt., the one represented must be the battallion of Saxen – Gotha – Altenburg – Meiningen.
The other 2 other batt. (Saxen – Coburg – Saalfeld and Saxen – Hildburghausen – Weimar) had other uniforms and colours. |

I have a Prussian army. Can you imagine all those dark blue and black uniforms in front of you. My bright blue dragoons stand out in all that darkness. |
