Hi,

Another addition to my growing AWI collection.

This is the Orange County Militia. All figures are Perry and Foundry. Flag is GMB.

Thanks for viewing! :)

Beautifully done.
All of your AWI units are stunning, and your blog is great too.

Excellent work. I researched the Orange County militia
when I worked at the OC museum in Hillsborough. The
GMB color is fine – but the militia men may have never
carried one in the field, according to sources (all of
which are letters).

There are two reenactment units which portray militia
during Cornwallis' occupation of Hillsborough, one
Loyalist and one Revolutionary.

Thank you guys!:-)

@Ed

Except for skirmishers, Grenadiers and light infantry all my units will have standards so as to stand out a bit, plus I just like every excuse I can get to put a banner on something.:-)

That said I do really appreciate the extra info. and if anything else comes to mind I'd be grateful for it as finding out anything on militia units is difficult.

Your work is just fantastic. It's so simple to say, but your figures just pop out of the pictures.

Just wonderful stuff.
