Been working on some terrain for my Buntai to fight over, sure it's missing flock due to a current lack of it, just need to wait for a trip there, but I've got a lot finished up to that point that people might enjoy taking a glance at.

benglish, the easy way to do the patina is to mix up the right blue green you want, water it down a lot and add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the mix before putting it on, then just glop it on to a model painted in the right metallics.

I'd used copper for the tiger, mainly because I already had some that I'd used for another project, but brass and similar work as well with the same mix for the patina over it.

No where near done with painting this one, but I'm still working on it…

I need to find a time machine or something to give me the time to get stuff done in order to let me actually build the pieces I want to…

Nowhere near finished, but I've flocked the older stuff and I'm working on other pieces as well

Very nice!!!

I'm curious, what all on round bases?

Borathan04 May 2014 3:18 p.m. PST

I'd used CD's for all of them, ended up with a large number of older ones from reworking my backup for my laptop.

Ah, convenience. Was wondering if there was some rules thing that made round-based terrain a good idea, but I guess not.

For the paths, it works rather well because it lets you get some rather good turns

Hadn't thought of that!

Thank you for the idea!

It also works well for ruined walls, not as much for intact ones without a lot of work, but destroyed ones let you have gaps and wrecked sections.

It might work for rivers and streams at various scales, but you would likely need several for it to work properly.
