"The press-service of the Russian Ministry of Defence has announced that new models of military equipment would be displayed during the Victory Day parade on Red Square in Moscow. Thus, on May 9, one will be able to take a look at state-of-the-art anti-aircraft missile complexes Tor-M2U and anti-tank missile systems BMP-3 Khrizantema-S.

Tor-M2U has already been put into service in a number of military units. The system can destroy cruise missiles, air reconnaissance and electronic warfare equipment.

BMP-3 Khrizantema-S is capable of striking modern tanks of any level, as well as low-tonnage ships, hovercraft and low-flying air targets…"

Is that a hull machine gun on that BMP?

11th ACR07 Apr 2014 7:25 p.m. PST

"Is that a hull machine gun on that BMP?"

Armament:
The turret of the basic BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle is removed as well as the two 7.62 mm PKT bow-mounted forward-firing machine guns, firing ports and associated vision devices, troop compartment roof hatches and rear doors. The hull roof has been modified and, mounted on the hull roof, between the second and third road wheels, is an elevated arm which carries two Khrizantema (NATO code AT-15) anti-tank guided missile system in the ready to launch position. Missiles are re-loaded automatically by the tank destroyer from an internal magazine with 15 rounds and can also accept munitions manually loaded from outside the vehicle. The manufacturer claims that three 9P157-2 tank destroyers are able to engage 14 attacking tanks and destroy at least sixty percent of the attacking force. The dual guidance system ensures protection against electronic countermeasures and operation in all climatic conditions, day or night. The launcher has powered traverse through 170º and powered elevation/depression. Khrizantema missile is able to destroy MBTs and other armoured targets at long range, although the manufacturer also states that it can be used to destroy fortified structures, pillboxes and small ships. Given its high speed it can also engage slow and low-flying helicopters.
The Khrizantema 9M123 is a Russian anti-tank missile. The 9M123 (NATO code AT-15 Springer) missile itself is supersonic, flying at an average speed of 400 m/s or Mach 1.2 and a range of between 400 and 6000 meters. Propulsion is by way of a single solid fuel rocket motor with two exhausts on either side of the missile.

Design and protection
The hull of the BMP-3 Khrizantema is of all-welded aluminium armour construction providing the crew with protection from small arms fire and shell splinters. The glacis plate is well sloped and the hull sides vertical. The hull floor consists of two layers with a space between them and, over the frontal arc of the turret; spaced armour is fitted as standard. The BMP-3 Khrizantema has a two-man crew consisting of commander/gunner and driver, both under full armour protection. They are seated at the front of the vehicle with the driver in the centre.
Propulsion
The BMP-3 Khrizantema uses the same chassis and power pack as the infantry fighting vehicle version of basic BMP-3. The engine is located low down at the very rear of the hull with the hydro mechanical transmission. The BMP-3 Khrizantema is powered by a UTD-29M 10-cylinder 4-stroke liquid cooled diesel engine developing 500 hp coupled to an hydro mechanical transmission with 4 forward and 2 reverse gears. The suspension either side consists of six dual rubber-tyred road wheels with the idler at the front, drive sprocket at the rear and three track-return rollers. The road wheels have individual hydro pneumatic suspension, which consists of a spring, shock-absorber and an elevation device that allows the ground clearance to be adjusted from 190 mm to 510 mm. An external shock-absorber is attached to the first, second, and sixth road wheel stations. The electromechanical track adjustment system allowing the driver to adjust the track tension for both tracks without leaving his seat. The air inlet/outlets are located in the right side of the hull roof with the rectangular exhaust outlet located on the right side of the hull just above the track guard.

Accessories
NBC protection is provided for the crew (gunner and driver) of each 9P157-2 in addition to full armour protection equivalent to the standard BMP-3 chassis and entrenching equipment. The BMP-3 Khrizantem , retains the full amphibious capability of the standard BMP-3 armoured infantry fighting vehicle, being propelled in the water at a speed of 10 km/h by two water-jets mounted at the rear of the hull.

Difficult to know if that answer was a yes…

The BMP-3 is fitted with two 7.62mm PKT bow machine guns, again with 2,000 rounds each.

11th ACR's post says: "The turret of the basic BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle is removed as well as the two 7.62 mm PKT bow-mounted forward-firing machine guns" although they do still seem to be evident in that photo (which, to be fair, could be an exhibition mockup).

This one seems to be missing the gun:

Whereas this one seems to have the gun still present:

Could be dummy barrels just to make dismounts think twice before approaching it. Like what the did with the CDL's and a few other AFV that had other missions then what they were origanaly desined as.
