A friend in the GHG group did a great job of redoing Lissa at Millennium Con this past year. He used Richard Houston's ships and a simple set of rules to produce a great game.

Thanks Jim. We have been using your group's rules for ten years or more now and they always give a fun game.

These ocean-going ironclads introduce a whole new set of dynamics. The ability to to operate in the open ocean means that manoeuvring, without river banks and shoals, is easier. Most of these ships are broadside ironclads and only a few have forward facing guns. Getting your ships in close and aligned to make the best use of the broadside is a challenge. Ramming becomes the decisive tactic and can send your opponent to the bottom in a single turn.
