Shot in the dark on this, but if the TMP groupmind can't help me with this, it's lost. A long, long, LONG time ago, like 25 years long, I remember seeing a miniature (I recall it being in a blue blister pack, but I could be wrong) of a large hovercraft with a bunch of guns on it, more like a hover landship of some kind. I remember also that there were some kind of game stats on the back of the pack, and that the thing was meant to be a hover-command center. It would have been a superheavy unit even at 6mm scale. I do not recall the manufacturer or the game it was for, but for crying out loud, it has been stuck in my mind ever since and I would love to know if anyone can help me identify it. Many thanks! |

Never pass on an impulse buy. you'll regret it forever. |

Hmmm, I've been gaming with miniature hovers for about 35 years, but that one's new to me. That type of blister pack does sound vaguely familiar, though. I know GZG did some large hovers in resin, but none of them were bristling with guns. I'll be interested in hearing what other TMPers turn up. |

And let me just second what Ravenscraft said. Truer words were never spoken, at least when it comes to miniatures purchases. |

So it's a 6mm fig? Sci Fi? From 25 years back. GZG is the only name to spring to mind. Unless it was GW Epic. RAFM? You sure it wasn't a spaceship you could cross-purpose for land war? |

It probably was not GW
this is their long OOP model of a dropship
which is close to what you discribed
I have two of them in my 6mm Drop Fleet

What about the old RAFM (?) Traveller grav tanks and such
15mm but big hunks of metal

In the 30 year range, there was a company called T Rex that made some large pieces for 6mm. They made armor, air and space vehicles for Space Opera. They had a large vehicle called an Intercontinental Siege Unit that sounds something like that, but was tracked. Always wanted one, but never got it. |

The original Ral Partha Battletech came in light blue blisters. 25 years ago would be about right for those
..Anyone have a catalog from Ral Partha that is 25 years old? |

Not sure if they're old enough, but how about these? link
Believe Wargames Emporium has those now, although I don't see them on their site. |
