Yesterday I got an email from the other half of Pulp Action Library, Roderick Robertson, saying he'd received his test copies of the card decks for 'Outlaws of Sherwood', and wasn't happy with them. "I'll fix 'em, send a new file to Wargames Vault, but it will be another two seeks," he said. "Okay," I said. "It's not as if we've announced you can buy them yet." Ten minutes later I saw on TMP that Wargames Vault had – getting ahead of itself – announced that 'Outlaws of Sherwood' is ready for the world. The book is ready BUT – and this is important – the card decks aren't. So, forget the announcement. We'll announce it ourselves as soon as it's all as good as we can make it. Open a barrel of ale, steward! |

So
.the card decks on the website are not the ones that are ready? (Ie: special event & duck and bash cards). What about those who've bought? |

Curse those varlets at WV! Actually they are fine folks – they just jumped the gun. My guess is that if you already bought, they'll simply hold your order until the cards are ready. If you find there's a problem, just PM me and we'll make sure you get the final, proper, all-done version. The issue was about a margin to the illustrations that Roderick didn't think was neat enough. |

Aren't you able to download updated versions of your purchases from Wargames Vault when they're available? |

The problem area would be in the cards, when bought pre-printed (which, frankly, seems more sensible than going to the trouble of printing them yourself, which is heavy on ink and often hard to do well.) Roderick's revised card file has to be processed and accepted by WV. I tell people that, even if you go for the PDF rules, buy the cards. We keep the cost of those as low as we can, deliberately. In fact, we only charge the minimum we can justify for the print versions as well – basically the cost of printing plus WV's percentage and an allowance to make sure that when we do our occasional 25% sales we don't actually lose money :) |

One thing that annoyed me about Battle Troll was that the hard copy rules lived one place and the cards lived in another. So, even though I ordered both at the same time, I got to pay two shipping bills. Hope they have worked this out. Grelber |

Ah, real cards. To quote Emily Litella, "Never mind." |
