Not too many StuG IIIGs in Pz Gray, production started Dec 1942 and the change over in basecoats would have been in Feb 1943. So around 2 mo of production in Pz Grey. A few occasionally turn up in photos

Hmm.. I thought the first StuG III G were Spring 42 so there was a 9 month gap before the dunkelgelb base? Happy to be wrong of course, just limits the scenarios. |
