I ued to enjoy playing some ancient campaign rules aboot an imperial roman – German frontier campaign rules in miniature war games once upon a time that included felling trees, building roads and forts etc but I've long since lost them. are there any rules available that cover this level of detail. Some of us just like to number crunch a campaign in the background like those people who play chess over a course of days making moves over a week as they pass the board (though that may just be me) |

An ancient miniatures game that does all that? Cool! I know the board game "Barbarians" has those rules, but that game deals with legions and war bands for units

They were free in a magazine, I just can't find the magazine. It might be Miniature Wargames or any of them. |
