They are old school, but I like them:

auction

I am also wondering how well they would go with Fife and Drum figures.

Old but still good – Pax Britannica, now sold by RSM95 in the States, and they go very well with Mindens, so should fit F&D also

Those are nice paint jobs looks like a great deal. What scale are they?

I am almost certain these are the firuges from Dayton Painting Consortium. The have a very characteristic look which reminds me of the old Staddens. However the lines and the curves and especially the drummers make me almost certain they are from DPC.

Yes, these are DPC's RSM-95 range. I have a unit of these in my 18th Century imagi-nation armies.

Eyes in 28mm always look wierd to me

Does RSM make AWI? I think RSM only made FIW.
I think they may be Hinchliffe X-range American Revolution. They are by the same designer as the RSM/DPC figures.

They would go perfectly with Fife and Drum.

John the OFM03 Apr 2014 9:48 p.m. PST

Ah, I just read the seller's comments. He thinks they are Hinchliffe also.
Still in production, I think.

Smart guy. 3 figures on 1" x 2" basswood bases. grin

Note, NOT the AW range, but the X range.

John the OFM: to answer your question, yes RSM does make AWI figures. They have British, Hessians, and Colonial troops. Attractive figures and good value. The RSM website lists a full page of AWI figures.

Thank you gentlemen. I checked the websites and have no doubt they are RSM-95s. Nice figures with great proportions.

Grossman, they are 28mm.

I just won some eBay auctions from this seller. The painted figures are 25/28mm A.W.I. Old Glory and Front Rank. The photograph's are much nicer than the figures (in the flesh). I didn't pay much (about $3.25 USD/figure). That includes postage. The seller has a very fair return policy. However, for the price---I will just keep them. They are painted to the level of 'not crying the blues' if they are dropped and broken!
