Just a quick post to let you know images of the plastic Peltast, Hoplites, Archers and slingers are up on the website.

victrixlimited.com

The photos were hastily done on the kitchen table as the light outside was terrible. I will get some better photos sorted next week.

However Charles Baynon has sent us some fantastic photos of the Hoplites he has painted for us. (Oh for a decent camera and lighting set up!)

Hope you like them. I have stuck together as many as I could when I got hold of them this afternoon. It shows the great variety you get from the sets.

Just finished 3 sheets of Peltast transfers and 2 new sheets of Hoplite designs.

All will go on sale 5th April.

Best regards,

Steve.

They look great! Would have been cool to see some Thracian heads in felt caps in the peltast set, though – maybe we still will (or as a variant set, like the armored hoplites)? I would love some 28mm Thracians in plastic.

Very nice looking figures. I'll definitely need a box of the slingers and archers. I have a ton of Greeks but only a dozen slingers and fewer archers.

I have to say these guys look great. Making a 28mm Greek army very appealing….

Sadly you'll have to put up with even more tons of Greeks as the skirmishers only come 8 to a box (conpared to 48 of the other type).

Fortunately the sprues for the archers and slingers are separate to the rest of the box, so maybe Victrix will one day make a box just of those sprues (or sell them direct through their own site).
