Here's a question for Bill, or for any members who track or care about this kind of thing (which leaves me right out). We all know that our post counts have been broken for a long time, and that they seem to fluctuate wildly with no rhyme or reason, but has anyone determined whether the post counts are all reduced by the same percentage across-the-board, at any given time? For example, let's say that Moe actually has 5,000 posts and Larry has 2,500. If Moe's current "broken" count is 1,000, would Larry's be 500? (Each 20% of the actual.) Or could Larry's count still be accurate, or wrong in some other random way? I don't really care one way or the other, just curious. |

No, they're all over the shop – the top 100 posters list looks like it may well be in the right order (ie. the names at the top are broadly speaking where they were before the post count broke) but the numbers displayed jump all over the place. |

As Dom says, the ordering is about right, but the counts are all over the place. |

I have actually written a musical on this whole ongoing TMP meltdown and I am hoping that Michael Buble and Elaine Paige will agree to be the lead roles. I just can't think of a title for the show
can you? |

This is an ongoing meltdown? Because my post to stifle ratio is inaccurate. Has the bar for 'meltdown' been lowered so far? |

I guess so, Patrick, for certain very limited uses of the term "meltdown." |
