"X-Wing and ST Attack Wing" Topic

Are the components (stands, templates, etc.) from X-Wing and Attack Wing compatible?

I don't mean the ships, I know they are different scales. If you have the stuff from one game, can you use it with the other and just change ships and cards?

The flight stands are different. In X-Wing there are small pegs on the outside of the square base for the movement template. In Attack Wing, the bases have small cutouts for the movement templates instead.

The dice are basically compatible, same number of sides and icons. But X-Wing focus is an eye while Attack Wing "Battle Stations" is a crosshairs.

I have been told the turning templates themselves differ slightly but I have not measured them and it just might be the difference of the bases and where the turning starts from.

The templates are different. Specially the 1 bank turn. Its a lot longer. The rest are close but still slightly off. It also has a 6 straight and a 4 bank but as far as I understand those are not used.

The bases are slightly different. The Attack wings are actually a better design. They are 40mm by 44mm and have a notch instead of the small nubs that the X-wing ones have.

Can it be played with X-wing stuff? Sure. Just make sure all the players are using the same stuff.

We carry acrylic replacements for most of the components. That is if the laser will work for more then 2 days…
