Great stuff from a great Company! What exactly is the difference between the FT17 for the SCW as opposed to WW1? Could I use it for my WW1 French? Thanks, Peter |

The F17 in Spain had the trench crossing device at the back removed -may this was the case in th Great War but I don't know.

The model comes with the rig on the back as well |

You'll see FT17's both with and without the trench skid throughout their service career. I'm not sure there was any major difference, although the MG may have been different. |

Great models. When I get caught up on painting the 2 dozen armored vehicles I already have for VBCW I will get these. |

As far as I can glean there were three turrets produced. First cast/composite, then angular welded then cast again. If you want WW1 French the safest bet would be welded as I am not sure which cast is depicted by these models. Incidentally, are the Empress tanks redos of the FoA range? If so they will surely be closer to 1:60 as was his other "Inter-War" kit? 😕 |

the lead tank has its track assembly on up side down. What scale are these and how much? |

This has now been rectified :-) They are 28mm 42 pounds for three |

Plus the French produced the variant that carried a wireless set. It did away with a rotating turret and just had a fixed box-like replacement structure instead. Robert |
