I just bought the Renedra plastic ones from Conquest Games – these days time is shorter than cash
I like yours though. |

Great way of doing such fences. I actually like better than the commercial product because on yours you can see through the fencing in places. I'd love to see these with a wee bit of dry brushing. I plan to try something similar one day but in 15 mm. Do you recall the diameter of the string you used? Thanks for the idea. |

I'd say the tread is about 1mm in diameter. G. |

Nice look! I did mine using solder wire: link And also have the same problem as you: a couple of days later, I found the Renedra ones on a local store
:-) Cheers |

Hi Goober Great tutorial and very similar to my approach using garden wire – although I wish i'd thought of thick thread. I tried string but it did not work. link

Very nice, Eric. I tried at first with garden wire, but I think mine was just too thick. I then stripped some 3-strand garden twine down to single strands and used that quite successfully, but it did end up looking a bit hairy. The waxed cord is by far the best result. I have some fields that I think I will be enclosing too, like the ones on your blog. |
