I know you Robotech junkies have not got a "good" fix in a long time so I made this awesome Robotech model today. I wanted to make a 1/200 scale Zentraedi deck gun from Robotech for a long time. I finally got around to it. I made it out of two of my wife's used espresso cup lids, an Easter egg, foam core board, a few odds and ins from my bits box and some decals I had lying around. Total cost was $0.00 USD! I wanted it to move but I just sort of gave up on that knowing I just did not have time to work all the engineering out. I made the Zentraedi deck out of children's science fair boards and just junk I had in the studio. I tried to make the antennas like the ones in my reference photos. My reference photos are included in the set. Over all I like the way it came out.

As it is, I'm going to be stealing erm, borrowing those ideas for my board! … for the Robotech Tactics rulebook. (If it ever sees the light of day…) Curse of the stupidly successful KS, with far too many stretch goals. Last I heard, Wave 1 (consisting of all the units in the core boxed set) is expected to arrive in June; Wave 2 maybe in August. |

I have 3 He-Man sets, 13 Robotech sets and 1 Terminator set along with a bunch of other fun stuff. Check back I will have more He-Man Masters of the Universe Waves coming up including some batten report hopefully.

Unfortunately, the Cy Bear project has been shelved indefinitely. We are looking for a new publisher. There was tons of material created. Lots of storyboards exist and other characters got developed some even all the way to a half completed puppet stage. |
