I am interested in ordering some of the Campagna-sculpted 15mm minis sold by Strategia Nova in Italy, but would like to get some idea as to the likely postage/handling/tax costs before I do so. Has anyone in the USA any recent experience with them? (BTW, my previous post search timed out, so sorry if this has been discussed recently). Thanks in advance, Mark |

Send them a note with your order from this page and ask for a quote. They've had some probs with their cart I think. link Cheers, Aaron |

FYI, the above suggested approach worked. Unfortunately, S&H is apparently and additional 50% of the cost of the order. I.e., an order totaling 35.00 Euros apparently ships for 53.00 Euros. On the other hand, Strategia Nova's price per pack of 4 cavalry or 8 infantry is only 2.50 Euros, compared with Essex or Baueda which charge about 4.00 Euros. Thus perhaps it equals out in the end, assuming my arithmetic is correct. Mark |

International shipping has gotten obscenely expensive recently. I suspect it's mostly due to the increasing costs of petroleum. It can't be aided and abetted by the costs of funding those government pensions, because even the private companies are charging those kinds of $$. |

I don't think it's a global international shipping issue. Neither Essex (UK) nor Baueda (Italy) charges that much for postage, but as I said, their per-pack price is greater. BTW, "government pensions" ?? I assume you are joking. MH |

I have some of the Strategia Nova Roman gladiators and they are lovely figures. |

FYI, here is the shipping cost table Paolo sent me. We ordered 14 packs (with 8 infantry or 4 cavalry each), which he says weighed about 450 g. Anyone ordering in future could use this to estimate weight, so as to adjust the size of the order to be near the "end" of a given range. For example, we could have doubled the size of our order to 900 g for the same shipping cost. Mark > We send you in registered mail for your and our security. > This is the table for the foreign countries in euro > > Weight Zone 1 Zone 2 Zone 3 > until to 20 g – standard* 4,80 5,60 6,00 > over 20 g & until to 50 g 6,40 7,30 8,00 > over 50 g until to 100 g 7,00 8,00 9,00 > over 100 g until to 250 g 8,50 11,00 12,00 > over 250 g until to 350 g 9,50 12,50 16,00 > over 350 g until to 1000 g 13,00 18,00 24,00 > over 1000 g until to 2000 g 19,00 29,00 34,00 > > The weight of your package is about 450 g and you are in zone 2, so > the > cost is € 18,00. |
