Well its now the 31st March here in Merry old England and I am wide awake but will not get anything completed so here is the latest update.

Bought
28mm – 58 (Mainly AWI but some odds and ends of WWII and some steampunk figs)

Painted
6mm – 20 (colonial British)
28mm – 59 (AWI figs)

Monthly Total – +21
Yearly Total – -117
Ready locker – 2145 (target is 1519 by DEC 31st)

Plan

1) Paint 70 figs this month
2) Resist anymore bargain buys via TMP or EBAY (Thanks Chalfont for the AWI figs on the way that will add to the lead mountain and be counted in next months total)
3)Resist the urge to go to Salute
4)Resist buying lots of the AWI continental plastics from Perrys no matter what special offer they do

Hmmm…while I did get some painting done, it wasn't the quantity that I wanted. I spent a lot of time at work, and on a Call of Cthulhu game.

That being said….Lets see…

Bought: 0 (But that is going to change tomorrow when I make a purchase on BF's Vietnam sale…

8 25-28mm RAFM/Pulp Figs Figures.
1 Large tentacle creature created out of sculpy, (I'm counting this as two figs)
SCENERY
2 LARGE mirrors for game scenery, (to include inscriptions)(Counting this as 2 figures each, so a total of 4 figs).
1 Large summoning circle. (count as 2 figs)

So my monthly total: +16

My yearly total: +17

Subtract this from the -7 and my total right now is: +9

WOO HOO!!! I'm in the positive!!!! (until I make that damn BF purchase…)

Plan:

1: Make the BF purchase.
2: April is going to suck as I am going to Little Wars…which means "spend money".
3: Finish up some 15mm Bongolesian Naval Infantry.
4: Finish the presidential palace.
5: Resist the urge to buy more from Bob Murch.
6: Make a "small" order from Eureka.

sigh….

This hobby is horrible….

March was a bad month for painting. I need to base what I did get painted so they don't count yet. With my Redoubt British arriving I will slip to -86 for the year.

Well I didn't quite reach my goal for March, but I will pat myself on the back for having gone to Maplewood Hobby and only buying one figure.

Kind of a light month for me, both ways.

Next month, the plan is the finish up a few projects, not buy too much, and get further ahead. I've got about 30 figures almost painted right now, so that should get me started.

A rough month for me as I was doing some home renovations in preparation for a bridal shower this past Sunday. That couple with my friend Hihlandcatfrog selling me a bunch of Egyptians made for an upside down month. Here is the damage none the less;
