One might Google TMP or browse through "More Hobby News" in the hope of finding some discussion, but how about establishing "News Talk" as a browsable and searchable message board in its own right? |

Do you mean something like a "Current Affairs" board? Ie: outside hobby, real world news? |

Current Affairs is a nice snappy title for a board. It would certainly be a good place for all those threads about what is happening right now and sundry opinions on the rights and wrongs of it. I wonder why we've not had one of those before? |

No, I mean a board where discussion about "Hobby News" items can go after they will have scrolled off of the main page. That is assuming that one does not already exist. I haven't looked that hard, but it would seem that the "Hobby News" discussion threads remain, but that they are linked to the "Hobby News" announcements, and are not compiled in any message board of their own. Here is the set of news headlines, but it has no integral search functionality: TMP link Where can one go for the set of "News Talk" threads that discuss those news items, without having to navigate through a headline or use Google? Perhaps, integrating the TMP search engine with "Hobby News" might be enough. |

Yes, a "Continued Hobby News" board would be great. |

I agree that some feature to be able to follow Hobby News discussions past their "expiration date" is needed. |

Yes, that's a way, but it does take some typing, and you would need to know about it and what to look for. A searchable TMP message board would be both more obvious and more convenient. |
